Plot

The movie is about an alcoholic professor, John "JD" Durairaj (Joseph Vijay), who is sent to a juvenile detention facility for three months. There, he clashes with Bhavani (Vijay Sethupathi), a gangster who uses the children for criminal activities. 

 

Cast

The movie also stars Malavika .Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah, and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj. 

 

Director

Lokesh Kanagaraj directed the movie and co-wrote the screenplay with .Rathna Kumar and Pon Parthiban. 

 

Release

The movie was released in January 2021. It was one of the most anticipated Tamil films of 2020 and was the first major Indian film released after the COVID-19 lockdown.
